February 24, 2010  Doug Dina from Audiocage joins the Pintech family as an endorsee.  He has been a valued member of the Pintech family for quite some time, now he just gets the privilege of putting endorsee next to his name, or rather we have the privilege of calling him an endorsee, I guess it all depends on how you look at it.  Regardless we are very happy he is a part of the Pintech family.  In 2007 he upgraded his Zenbal cymbals to VisuLite and built himself a custom kit.  To find out when and where you can see Doug play his Pintech kit go to www.audiocage.net

February 2010.  Pintech employees were thrilled to see the Florescent Green VisuLite cymbals on stage at the Grammys.  We got to see all our hard work in action.  It was very exciting for us to see them in a live nationwide event.  They were featured on Keith Harris of Black Eyed Peas drum kit during the Black Eyed Peas performance on the Grammy Stage.

January 29, 2010.   Created a custom one of a kind Electronic Gong for 'G' Roose of the band Darqsyde.  After UPS sent the package on a 15 day trip around the country, George received it and commented.  "Just arrived…the box is ready for retirement but everything is there and looks awesome!  I can’t wait!"  When I hear more from him I will be sure to post.

January 21, 2010 Antoine Goussard of Paris France becomes a Pintech endorsee.  Antoine is an independant drummer and also endorsed by Yamaha and Paiste.  We are thrilled that he wished to add Pintech VisuLite cymbals to his drum gear line up.  His comment upon getting his new VisuLite cymbals was "I received the 2 packages today (the day just after my birthday, I felt like a child).  The VisuLites are really beautiful cymbals!  The HH is awesome!!!" If you can read French, you can find out what Antoine is up to by going to www.AntoineGoussard.com  He also has a myspace.

January 21, 2010 Pintech signs Jason Humphrey as an endorsee.  Jason is utilizing an EJam kit upgraded to VisuLite cymbals for his projects.  Jason is brother to John Humphrey of Seether and an accomplished muscian and composer in his own right.  Jason states "I became familiar with Pintech electronics a few years back at summer NAMM in Nashville.  During the course of a recent project, I decided that their product would be of great use.  The quality of their equipment and customer service are second to none.  I will recommend Pintech products to anyone due to their quality and competitive pricing".  To see what projects Jason is involved with go to www.JasonHumphrey.net

Picture can be seen on the home page.  This is a limited edition kit.  The price is great considering what you are getting. Biggest benefit of all is that with the Pintech Warranty when your child outgrows this kit you can trade it in and upgrade the kit at a significant discount. There simply isn't another electronic percussion company that will allow you to do that! We make room for Pintech customers to grow with us! We don't stick our customers with old, out of date gear and make them pay full price to upgrade to the new.

November 11, 2009 Pintech happily welcomes a long time customer Jeff Costello as an endorsee.  Jeff plays for two bands CrashGirl and Crista Renee.  Jeff has been part of the Pintech family for almost 10 years but he just became an endorsee and sent us a new drum kit to convert to electronic for him.  He has given permission to post an email he wrote to a competitor the experience which pushed him totally into the Pintech fold.  That will be posted under testimonials.  To keep up with Jeff and check out his drumming and music you can go to www.crashgirlband.com or www.myspace.com/christarenee or www.myspace.com/deepwoodsdrummer

Although still not sure about the newest DTXtreme III yet either.   A trigger has been sent out for testing on that module.

July 18, 2009,  Pintech introduces ability to engrave images and words on the VisuLite cymbals.  Go to www.myspace.com/Pintech and read the blog to see some examples.  This means artists can have their name, or band logo or even just a design that they like engraved onto their cymbals to make them their own, unique, and original cymbals.

July 18, 2009,  Pintech introduces new Can/Bottle holders that mount on drum rack or hihat/cymbal stand as another original accessory for our drummers.  Each is an original work of art like the drumstick holders.  We also now have some standard designs for the drumstick and can/bottle holders as well.  Standard designs are ones that we can replicate.  Currently, there are more standard designs for the Drumstick holders than for the can/bottle holders.  They are posted under drum candy on the Pintech website!   There is also a video showing them and showing them mounted on teh Pintech myspace page along with a blog.

June 23, 2009,   Scott McMasters of Coathanger Abortion endorses Pintech.  Scott currently uses the RS5's on his drums.  We are hoping to upgrade him to the Trigger Perfect soon but time will tell.  He says that  "Pintech triggers are reliable, tough, sensitive, accurate, AND affordable!" To follow Scott and see what he and his band are up to go to www.myspace.com/coathangerabortion

May 29, 2009,    Pintech introduces new Pintech Drumstick Holders that clip to your drum rack or HiHat/Cymbal stand an original work of art and the first of a series of new products to fall under the new product category of 'Pintech Drum Candy'.  In the picture below you can see the second one we made on Steve Ferguson's drum kit. On the left below his Flo Green Cymbal.  It was made to match his cymbals and tie together the two colors he uses on his kit.     These started out as a special project for one drummer and then when four of them walked out the door with no one really seeing them we decided to go ahead and offer these to all of our customers.  The current series are all signed and numbered by the artist but there is only one of each design.  So each is an original work of art and will remain that way.  Keep an eye out though as we are working on a standard stick holder as well.

May 2009,    Pintech signs Bob Ezrin. Bob was the producer of Pink Floyds 'The Wall' which is just one among a long line of impressive accomplishements.  When you do a search for Bob the amount of information available is staggering.  We are very proud to have him as a Pintech endorsee/player.  Bob is a very busy man but when we finally pinned him down to give us a comment about his new Pintech kit he said "I love the way the Pintech drums feel - and they look amazing!"

April 2009,  Pintech finalizes the work on the new VisuLite hi hats.  Now available with the controller in between the cymbals.  This so rocks.  Gets rid of the hassle of trying to adjust and get the HHC Controller box perfectly placed on the hi hat stand.  Now all you have to do is set the hi hat cymbals on your stand adjust the throw and commence playing

January 2009,    NAMM was a success. Pintech introduced and demo'd the new VisuLite Hi hats with the controller in between the cymbals. Production will start on these in March of this year.  The Beta testers love the feel and response as did the NAMM attendee's.
Soul in The Machine was a hit and the drum wall they designed with Pintech Drums and VisuLite cymbals caused a lot of heads to turn.  You can see all the videos we took at NAMM under our video section.  Make sure to check out Pintech's youngest endorsee 10year old Isaiah Fogle.  This child is amazing on the drums.  Even the belly dancers that were roaming the show came by and danced in the Pintech booth.

September 2008,    Pintech signs Soul in The Machine as an endorsee and they agree to display their drum wall in the Pintech booth.  Their drum wall utilizes all Pintech drums and VisuLite cymbals.  You can see it in action at our Winter NAMM booth.  They have done some amazing things with instruments and lazers and lighting that is truly phenomenal.  To keep up to date with them and see the new things as they come out with them and add them to their line up go to www.soulinthemachine.com

Summer NAMM 2008,   We showed the Novelty Trigger kit and Cocktail kit intro'd at winter NAMM.  Also demo'd the new Bass Base for the CKV's which we believe goes a long way to increasing the stability of the CKV and the ease of attaching it to different types of bass pedals.  We also demonstrated how the Pintech EZV2 works very well as a Trigger to Midi device.
Bob of Sesame Street crew loved the Rubber Duckie Triggers after all they are who made the Rubber Duckie a household name.
Charlie Adams expressed his belief that it is a great therapy tool for handicapped children.  As a serious percussion company we understand the importance of getting children involved in music at an early age.  The Novelty kit is a way to do that and to also improve hand eye coordination in the very young.  Our children after all, are the next generation of drummers.  We are aware of the fact that many parents don't want to get their young children drums because they are so loud.  By having an electronic kit specifically geared to young children we can overcome that and give the parents a way to encourage their children without going crazy.

New Shopping Cart and Server-7/2008,    Pintech has moved our server and acquired a new shopping cart.  We will also be filling in the news, artists, testimonials and dealers etc.  with all the things we haven't been able to post over the last 2 years.  We have been waiting for a promised new cart and site that we never received and finally had to just take matters into our own hands and do it ourselves.  So thank you for bearing with us as we start making the updates that we have long been wanting to do but were unable to do.  This will take a little time considering we have 2 years worth of news and postings to catch up on.  The past six days have had us frantically entering products in the new cart before the old one shut down completely.   We apologize for the loss of information in the forum.  We thank all of our loyal customers for their understanding.     We also wish to send a special Thank You to Brian from Hope Drums and to Ron Mueller for all the their help and support with the forums and design issues as well as the videos that Brian has spent so much time putting together for us.  And their much valued help and support with Customer Technical Support.  We simply can't thank them enough for all that they have done to help!

January 2007,  PINTECH USA INTRODUCES NEW NOVELTY TRIGGERS
Many drummers are out there looking for fun ways to dress up their drum kits, these new triggers fit the bill.  These triggers are also aimed to get a much younger generation interested in drumming/percussion.    What child, and for that matter, what adult doesn’t like or have fond memories of Rubber Duckies.  These new Triggers are a fun new way to experience electronic percussion.  So whether this trigger is for a serious drummer who wishes to display his fun side or a child experiencing electronic percussion for the first time, this trigger will be a holiday favorite.  With Pintech’s known dedication to quality and affordability these triggers should take the market by storm, just remember your umbrella as these Duckies are hydrophobic.

Winter NAMM 2007,    we introduced the intention to develop the Powerhouse module and a trigger to midi unit that was being worked on by our UK distributor.  The only prototype of the Trigger to Midi unit disappeared at the airport so that we did not have the prototype to demonstrate at the show.  Though we tried to continue on with the Powerhouse the individuals that were developing it for us got in over their heads and gave up on it's development in November of 2007.   It also became apparent that it was simply going to be too expensive.  We have not given up on developing a Pintech mid level module but we are loath to introduce even our intentions until we actually have something in hand.  Chalk it up to lesson learned.  And we apologize for all the hopes we raised only to have them all dashed to the ground.  Believe us we were seriously disappointed ourselves.  Hindsight is 20/20 and trying to catch up the news 2 years after the fact allows us to actually address some things that may not have been addressed before.

December 2006,  We added the ability to do Retro Upgrades as a warranty benefit, which emphasizes the durability of Pintech gear and ensures that Pintech owners will never have to, nor want to discard their Pintech gear as it has value even if it doesn't work.

November 2006,   George Kollias of Nile endorses the Pintech VisuLite cymbals.  If you are a fan of George's, his official website is www.GeorgeKollias.com

November 2006,   We lost Rick Koppen at the age of 39.  He was a valued member of the Pintech team and our sympathies go to his family and all that were touched by this exceptionally intelligent and gifted individual, he will be greatly missed.

June,2006,  Pintech signs endorsement with Paul Robb of Information Society, they are touring Brazil and using two Echo kits and 2 VisuLite cymbals.

January 2006,   Liz Holland of DisplaceD signs up to endorse Pintech Electronics.  We did an AcousTech conversion on her custom Chop Shop Drum Kit.  She also uses Pintech ConcertCast, Nimrods, Dingbats and a K-3.  To keep current with Liz and her projects go to www.girlthatdrums.com as most drummers she has more than one thing going on at a time.

PUT A LID ON IT! - 6/9/2006,   Pintech USA has created the 'Lid', a practice pad kit that awards drummers the freedom to play and move around their regular drumsets in virtually any environment at any tune -- a pad set which has at once conquered the multiple goals of being incredibly portable and extremely quiet, while simultaneously simulating actual drumset conditions in a simple to set-up and practically spaceless fashion. Each pad is a few inches in depth and matches the exact diameter of the respective drum on the drumset, easily attaching to the top of the drum in a matter of seconds. The pads also have actual drumset rims and mesh heads that resemble the feel of a regular drumhead, while producing a very low volume sound.
